Two respected graphic direct marketing and customer communication producers, Koliprint Oy and Mailhouse Oy, will merge on 1 April, 2017. The resulting entity is a direct marketing service provider that is superior in Scandinavia, with a turnover totalling c. 12 million euros and a total of 80 professionals in the field as personnel. The companies continue as independent companies for the time being.
Koliprint Oy is recognised in the Nordic countries as a printing house specialising in large print volumes and innovative structures and versatile personification of direct marketing. In 2016, Koliprint invested in the only Xeikon 9800 digital printing press in the Nordic countries and a highly diverse post-processing line. The investment enables offset quality even with smaller print volumes and digital direct marketing solutions that stand out. In addition to Scandinavia, Koliprint operates in the Russian market.
Mailhouse, on the other hand, has the largest mailing machinery volume in the Nordic countries. Its plastic pouching, envelope insertion and addressing machines have a capacity ranging from smaller batches up to volumes reaching millions. Mailhouse has a manual mailing unit of professionals for small mailing volumes and demanding post-processing projects. Mailhouse has recently invested in its stock of digital printing presses for sheet-fed production (e.g. Xerox iGen 5). This technology is ideal for small and medium-sized volumes and complements Koliprint’s volume production. In addition, Mailhouse offers In-House and storage logistics services.

Canada Post’s study confirms that direct mail is more effective at driving consumer action
than digital advertising.
The Nordic Swan ecolabel is proof of ecological operations. The right to use the ecolabel is granted when the entire lifecycle of the product from materials and production to disposal meets strict criteria. We were granted the right to use the Nordic Swan ecolabel based on the new, stricter criteria in 2014.
